Supplies Needed:
- Baby Snuggle Print yarn (colorful) and Honey Bunny in white (or two colors of choice).
- A bit of black yarn.
- 5.5 mm and 3.75 mm crochet hooks.
- Darning needle, scissors, and stitch markers.
- 25 mm safety eyes or embroidery thread for eyes.
- Polyester fiberfill for stuffing.
Steps:
Head and Body (Top Color):
- Magic Ring: 8 Single Crochets (SC) inside the ring.
- Round 2: Increase in each stitch (16 SC).
- Round 3: Boblet stitch, then increase repeat around (24 stitches total).
- Round 4: Single crochet around (24 SC).
- Round 5: Single crochet 2, then increase repeat around (32 stitches total).
- Round 6: Boblet stitch, SC in the next 3 stitches repeat around ending with a boblet and SC 2.
- Round 7: Single crochet 3, then increase repeat around (40 stitches total).
- Round 8: Single crochet around (40 SC).
- Round 9-11: Continue with single crochets and boblet patterns as described in the video.
Color Change (White):
- Color Change Technique: Work in back loop only, doing slip stitches with the new color, then single crochet in the back loop to start the new rounds.
Continue Body (White):
- Perform SCs and continue with boblet patterns as described, maintaining the stitch counts and ensuring to align boblets with previous rounds.
Decreasing for Bottom of Body:
- Begin decreasing rounds using single crochets and invisible decreases.
Finishing Body:
- Attach Safety Eyes: Between rounds 10 and 12, centered between two boblet stitches.
