Assembly and Embroidery

Step 1: Attach the Belly

  • Place the white belly piece towards the lower part of the frog's body. Ensure it does not overlap the flat bottom.
  • Sew it in place using the tail of the belly piece.

Step 2: Attach the Legs

  • Attach the legs at the bottom edge beside the belly. Sew each leg into place, ensuring symmetry.
  • Push the tail into the body after securing the legs.

Step 3: Attach the Arms

  • Attach the arms at Round 6, keeping them one stitch apart from the eye positions. Sew them with the wrong side facing out for symmetry, as explained in the video.

Step 4: Attach the Eyes

  • Place each eye on top of Rounds 3 and 4 and ensure symmetry in placement.
  • Sew one loop from the body and one loop from the eye piece together. Secure in place.

Step 5: Add Eyes (Options)

  • Glue flat black beads onto the eyes using fabric glue. (Do not use beads if making the frog for a child.)
  • Alternatively, embroider eyes using black thread and French knots.

Step 6: Embroider the Smile

  • Use separated black yarn and embroider a smile between Rounds 2 and 3.

Step 7: Embroider Blush (Cheeks)

  • Use pink yarn and embroider French knots below the eyes for blush.

Step 8: Add a Keychain Loop (Optional)

  • Use the yarn tail at the top of the frog to sew through the keychain ring or make a loop for hanging.

Final Notes

The bottom of the frog should be flat, allowing it to stand upright. For ornaments or projects that don’t require a flat base, you can omit the back-loop stitching in Round 12 of the body. Ensure all parts are firmly secured and tails are hidden into the body after tying knots at the back.
