Materials:

  • Plush yarn in three colors (Yellow, Orange, White)
    • Alternatives: Beige instead of yellow, Brown instead of orange, any main color of choice.
  • Fiberfill (Hollow fiber)
  • Crochet hook (4.0 mm; 3.5 mm for smaller size)
  • Cotton yarn (Black for face design)
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors
  • Durable thread
  • Safety eyes (8 mm) or plastic beads
  • Plastic nose (14-18 mm)
  • Lighter (optional)
  • Yarn needle
  • Glue (optional for nose)

Arms:

  1. With White Yarn:
    • R1: Magic ring, 6 single crochet (sc) in the ring.
    • R2: 6 increases (inc) - (12 sc)
    • R3-R4: 12 sc each round.
    • R5: [3 decreases, 3 sc] Change to yellow yarn on the 3rd sc - (9 sc)
    • Fill with fiberfill.
    • R6-R12: 9 sc each round.
    • Fold together, make 3 sc through both edges, and slip stitch. Fasten off and leave a tail.

Step 4

Legs:

  1. With White Yarn:
    • R1: Magic ring, 6 sc in the ring.
    • R2: 6 inc - (12 sc)
    • R3: [1 sc, 1 inc] 6 times - (18 sc)
    • R4: 18 sc in back loops only.
    • R5: 18 sc through both loops.
    • R6: [1 sc, 1 dec] 3 times, 6 sc - (12 sc) Change to yellow on 6th sc.
    • Fill with fiberfill.
    • R7-R12: 12 sc each round.
    • Fold together, make 5 sc through both edges, and slip stitch. Fasten off and leave a tail.

Tail:

  1. With Orange Yarn:
    • Chain 2, 6 loop stitches in second chain from hook.
    • R2-R3: 6 loop stitches each round.
  2. Change to Main Color:
    • R4: 6 sc.
    • R5-R14: 6 sc each round. Adjust length if needed.
    • Fold together, make 1 sc through both edges, and slip stitch. Fasten off and leave a tail.

Step 1

Ears:

  1. With Main Color:

Head:

    • R8-R9: 36 sc each round.
  3. Change to Orange Yarn for Mane:
    • R10: 36 loop stitches.
  4. Insert Eyes:
    • Round count: Place eyes between R5 and between first and second increase and fifth and sixth increase.
  5. Add Plastic Nose:
    • Place between R2 and R3.
  6. Attach Ears:
    • Place and attach ears between R10 and R11, as shown in the video.
  7. Continue with R11:
    • 36 sc each round.
    • Decreases start in R13 till R18 with loop stitches until closing head and sealing with yarn.

Body:

    • Same following decreases as head pattern - attach arms around R20-22 following the pattern.
